Description

The Philodendron Cordatum, also known as the Cordatum Heartleaf, is a classic and versatile indoor plant loved for its trailing or climbing vines and vibrant, heart-shaped leaves. Native to coastal Brazil, this epiphytic tropical species adapts beautifully to both hanging baskets and climbing supports, bringing lush greenery to homes and offices alike.

Its forgiving nature makes it perfect for beginners—thriving in a variety of lighting conditions and requiring minimal maintenance. Whether you let it trail gracefully from a shelf or train it upward on a moss pole, this philodendron adds a touch of tropical elegance to any space year-round.

USDA Growing Zones

  • Zones: 10–12 outdoors (frost-free climates)

  • All zones indoors as a houseplant

Growing Tips

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but tolerates medium to low light. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can scorch leaves.

  • Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

  • Humidity: Thrives in average household humidity but appreciates occasional misting.

  • Temperature: Keep between 65–80°F; avoid cold drafts or temps below 60°F.

  • Soil: Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix.

  • Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted balanced fertilizer.

  • Pruning: Trim vines to maintain shape or encourage bushier growth.

  • Propagation: Easily propagated through stem cuttings in water or soil.

Why You’ll Love Philodendron Cordatum

  • Lush, heart-shaped foliage for a timeless tropical look

  • Grows well in hanging baskets, on shelves, or as a climber

  • Low-maintenance and ideal for beginners

  • Improves indoor air quality naturally

Works awesome. If you don’t use them within a year replace them. It’s way cheaper than a tow truck!

Bad Product
Size: 20oz
There was no pressure in the can. It would not even inflate a bicycle tire. Be careful there is no amazon refund or return with this item!

IT WORKS, IT REALLY WORKS!
Size: 16oz, Size: 16oz
I carry a tire plug kit in my van. Low pressure light came on and quickly made my way to air pump. Checked out tire and was at least a 5/16" bolt right between tread, very easy to locate (hissing). Inflated tire, prepared plug, pulled out bolt, inserted plug done. Almost home light came on again. Used water soap and plug was still leaking. Tried double plug and still leaking, but would take days to trigger low pressure light. Tire still had decent tread and didn't have facilities to patch, so got a can of fix a flat. I have never believed in this stuff, but it worked. No low pressure warnings for about a month. Around here they would charge $50 for a patch, 2 .25 cent soft rubber plugs and fix a flat, problem resolved!

Buy it! Lifesaver!
Size: 16oz
Yes, buy it when you don't have a spare tire because you will need it! I live in Florida and flat tires are just part of living here! Saved my life twice already and is absolutely self explaining! Cheaper then a spare tire, lighter than one too! Just throw it in your trunk and best case you will never need it but just in case!
