Philodendron ‘Hope’ is a bold tropical houseplant prized for its large, deeply lobed foliage and lush upright growth habit. Its glossy green leaves develop dramatic cuts and ruffled edges as the plant matures, creating a full, sculptural appearance that brings instant tropical impact indoors. With bright, indirect light and steady warmth, this plant forms a dense, self-heading display that works beautifully as a statement floor plant. Hardy, dramatic, and easy to maintain, this variety brings a lush rainforest feel to bright corners, offices, living rooms, patios, and indoor plant collections.

Key Features:

  • Deeply lobed foliage – large glossy green leaves develop dramatic cuts and ruffled edges for a bold tropical look.
  • Self-heading growth habit – grows upright in a full, bushy form without needing a moss pole or trellis.
  • Easy-care tropical plant – adaptable, hardy, and well-suited for homes, offices, and bright indoor spaces.
  • Statement floor plant – creates a lush, sculptural display that adds height, texture, and tropical character.

Care Guide:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to support strong growth and large, healthy leaves. It can tolerate medium indirect light, but lower light may slow growth and reduce leaf size. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
  • Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy, as overly wet conditions can lead to root rot.
  • Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity but adapts well to average household conditions. Higher humidity can encourage larger leaves and cleaner growth.
  • Soil & Potting: Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix with ingredients such as orchid bark, perlite, coco chips, and high-quality potting media. Choose a pot with drainage holes to maintain healthy roots.
  • Fertilizer: Feed lightly with a diluted balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during spring and summer while the plant is actively growing; reduce feeding in fall and winter.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm indoor conditions around 65–85°F (18–29°C); protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F.

Growth & Size:
Moderate-growing indoors; typically reaches around 3–5 feet tall with a spread of about 3–5 feet, depending on light, humidity, pot size, and overall care. As it matures, Philodendron ‘Hope’ develops a fuller, more dramatic form with large deeply lobed leaves, making it especially effective as a tropical floor specimen.

Safety Note:
Philodendron ‘Hope’ is considered toxic to pets and humans if ingested, so it should be kept out of reach of cats, dogs, and small children. Like many aroids, it contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals, which can cause oral irritation, drooling, vomiting, and difficulty swallowing if chewed or eaten.

The toy is best for "non aggressive " chewers. The seller is fantastic though!! They resolved an issue proactively, without being asked-something you don't see often. That level of integrity sets them apart, and I would absolutely buy from them again.

Do not waste your money
Color: Large size (ø 7.4")
Not for aggressive dogs. I thought this was good for the money it’s not. My dog chewed this up in less than a minute. Not too happy

It's A Beast - But It'll Last Forever
Color: Large size (ø 7.4")
This big orange interactive dog toy does a few things differently—and mostly, it does them right. First, there are no batteries and no charging required. The internal noise maker is activated by movement, producing little squeaks and quacks that grab a dog’s attention without turning into an electronic science experiment. Second—and more importantly—this thing is built to last. It’s designed to work as both a ball and a tug toy, which means it’s far tougher than the typical interactive balls that get shredded in short order. I fully expect this one to stick around for a long time. That said, the reaction from my dogs was… mixed. All of them were a bit spooked at first. The sounds made them curious but cautious. My Border Collie was the first to commit and play with it, and she gave it a solid try. After a while, though, interest faded and the toy ended up sitting on the floor largely ignored. I can get them engaged if I roll it around and hype things up, but the two dogs that usually love tug-of-war haven’t latched onto this one yet. My guess is this toy will shine more outdoors. Once spring rolls around and it’s flying across the yard instead of the living room floor, I suspect it’ll get a lot more action. My dogs tend to burn energy—and enthusiasm—much faster outside. If you have a heavy chewer that destroys fragile interactive toys (and drains your wallet in the process), this is a very welcome alternative. Considering how quickly $35–$50 electronic balls can meet their end, this toy earns its place in the basket for durability alone.

Good for non chewers
Color: Large size (ø 7.4")
Dog lived it for the 4 minutes before he chewed a large hole in it. Definitely not for heavy chewers.
