Meet Oxicardinal - Your Lucky Charm with Attitude! 💚✨

This isn't just any money plant - Oxicardinal is about to become your home's golden child (literally!)

You know that feeling when you walk into someone's home and there's this gorgeous cascading plant that immediately catches your eye? That's exactly what Oxicardinal does. With those stunning heart-shaped leaves in brilliant lime green, she's like sunshine decided to grow in your living room.

The best part? She's not just beautiful - she's practically legendary for bringing good luck and prosperity. And honestly, after spending a few weeks with Oxicardinal, you might just start believing it!

Why Oxicardinal Will Steal Your Heart

This beauty is basically the golden retriever of the plant world - friendly, adaptable, grows fast, and makes everyone happy just by existing. Those vibrant green leaves? They're not just pretty to look at; they're busy cleaning your air and brightening up even the darkest corners of your home.

What makes her special:

  • Heart-shaped leaves that literally grow your heart fonder each day
  • Lightning-fast growth - you'll see new leaves weekly
  • Trails beautifully or climbs enthusiastically (whatever you prefer!)
  • Practically indestructible (seriously, she's very forgiving)
  • Perfect for that Instagram-worthy plant corner you've been planning

Living with Oxicardinal - The Real Deal

Finding Her Perfect Spot

Oxicardinal is wonderfully flexible about where she lives. That bright corner near your window? Perfect. That spot in your room that only gets indirect light? She'll thrive there too. Even that office cubicle under fluorescent lights? She's totally cool with it.

The only thing she's not crazy about is being in direct harsh sunlight all day - think of her like someone who loves brightness but prefers not to be roasted!

The Watering Game (She's Pretty Chill About It)

Hot Weather (March to May): When the heat is making everyone cranky, Oxicardinal gets a bit thirsty. Check her soil every 4-5 days - if the top inch feels dry, give her a good drink. She'll perk up beautifully and thank you with new growth.

Monsoon Season (June to September): Here's where Oxicardinal shows her easygoing nature. With all that humidity in the air, she doesn't need as much water. Maybe once a week, or even less. Just keep an eye on her hanging basket - good drainage is her best friend during these months.

Pleasant Months (October to February): Perfect weather for everyone, including Oxicardinal! Water her every 5-7 days and watch her grow like she's trying to win a race. This is when she puts on her best show.

Pro tip: She actually tells you when she's thirsty - her leaves get a tiny bit less perky. It's like having a plant that actually communicates!

Temperature Talk

Oxicardinal handles our Indian weather like a champion. Whether it's Mumbai's humidity, Delhi's dry heat, or those lovely Bhubaneswar monsoons, she adapts beautifully. She's comfortable anywhere between 20°C to 35°C, which basically covers our entire weather spectrum.

The Growth Story

Here's where it gets exciting - Oxicardinal grows FAST. We're talking new leaves every week when she's happy. You can let her trail down for that gorgeous waterfall effect, or give her a moss pole to climb up and create a living green wall. Both looks are absolutely stunning.

When Things Go a Bit Wobbly (Don't Worry!)

Leaves looking a bit yellow? Usually means you're being too generous with the water. Cut back a bit and she'll bounce right back. She prefers to be slightly thirsty than drowning.

Growth slowing down? Could be low light or she might just be taking a seasonal break. Move her to a brighter spot and be patient - she'll reward you soon.

Some leaves looking less vibrant? Probably just older leaves making way for new growth. Snip them off and use them to propagate new plants - it's like magic!

The Propagation Magic Show

This is where Oxicardinal becomes absolutely amazing. Take a cutting with a few leaves, pop it in water, and within 2-3 weeks you'll have roots. It's so satisfying that you might become slightly addicted to making more plants. Consider yourself warned!

Why Indians Love Money Plants

Beyond the obvious prosperity vibes, Oxicardinal just fits perfectly into Indian homes. She handles our monsoons, survives our summers, and looks gorgeous against both traditional and modern décor. Plus, there's something really satisfying about having a plant that actually seems to enjoy living here.

According to Vastu, placing her in the southeast corner of your home enhances wealth and positivity. Whether you follow that or not, she definitely brings positive vibes wherever she hangs out.

Great Read!!! Great story!!!
Format: Kindle
The series is long, but Ms. Wolfhart does a fantastic job of weaving this tale while bringing so much to the characters. Surprises and plot twists along the way to keep you intrigued. There is some graphic sex, but is no way the focal point. Grammar was excellent (a rare find with a lot of self publishers) with only a few noted errors. I rarely give 4 stars, let alone 5.

Sadly, DNF
Format: Kindle
I read this thru KU. I LOVED the synopsis. And then I began reading... and it was a DNF at 68% after picking it up and putting it down several times because I really loved the main female character. *****SPOILERS***** Pros: The world is unique, intriguing and fun. The primary female character is bad-a** but not a b*tech or a mary sue. The primary female has depth. I really want to know what happens to her even tho it's been weeks and I don't remember her name. The villains to the point I read are pretty good -- an ever present threat of mysterious and possibly many culprits. Cons: Way, way too many points of view. I stopped counting at 7. It's the prime reason why I don't care about most of the characters or remember their names even when I like them. There's just too many points of view so almost none of the characters have enough book space for the author to properly develop them. This literally killed the book for me. Actually it killed my desire to read. For weeks. The main male is more villain than hero. He agreed to marry the main female then locks her up & eschews her for her sister, all while bad mouthing her as unfit to rule when he never spent any time with her getting to know her. He is actually unfit to rule as he is blind to the woes of his own kingdom and starts off a peace mission to secure a ceasefire through marriage by murdering an inn full of people in her country for no real reason. Plus, he constantly makes promises he does not keep. And it's gross of him to pine for the sister behind the main female's back. ***** As much as I really wanted to see what happened to the main female character, it wasn't enough for me to keep trying to slog thru this book. There was a lot of potential here that just fell short. Hence, 3 stars.

Fae Courts with High Intrigue
Format: Kindle
This book is one that just builds and builds and then surprises you to no end. You may think you know the villains and then you are jolted in another direction. Princess Reyna is a real gem, strong of character, a fierce fighter, and loyal to her family and kingdom. Just when you think she and Lorcan, well you know, the plot is flipped. Can't wait to see where this goes in book two.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!
