Ace 55 VF Tomato Seeds - Heirloom, Non-GMO, Non-Hybrid, Open-Pollinated Variety | Perfect for Home Gardens & Small Farms

Looking for a top-quality, high-yielding tomato variety that’s perfect for fresh eating, canning, and cooking? Our Ace 55 tomato seeds are exceptional for home gardeners and small-scale farmers! These heirloom, non-GMO, non-hybrid, open-pollinated seeds produce robust plants that deliver delicious, low-acid, meaty tomatoes. Whether growing for salads, sauces, or salsas, Ace 55 tomatoes will delight your taste buds with their rich flavor. Each seed packet contains at least 300mg of seed, which is approximately 160 seeds, ensuring plenty of tomatoes for your garden.

Planting & Growing Instructions:

Days Till Maturity: Ace 55 tomatoes mature in 75-80 days, making them a perfect mid-season variety for summer harvests.

Planting Depth: Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in well-draining, fertile soil. This depth ensures proper germination by keeping the seeds moist and protected.

Plant Spacing: Once seedlings are ready to transplant, space them 24-36 inches apart to allow for healthy growth and airflow. Space rows about 36-48 inches apart to give the plants ample room.

Days to Germination: Expect your seeds to germinate within 7-14 days when kept in warm, moist soil (ideally between 70-85°F).

Start Indoors or Direct Sow?: For best results, start seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last frost date in your area. This gives the plants a strong start, leading to earlier fruiting. Alternatively, in warmer regions with a long growing season, you can direct sow outdoors once the risk of frost has passed, though indoor starting is generally recommended.

Sun or Shade? Ace 55 tomato plants thrive in full sun. For the healthiest plants and highest yields, provide them with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Inadequate sunlight can lead to reduced fruiting and less flavorful tomatoes.

Why Choose Our Ace 55 Tomato Seeds?

Each packet contains 300mg of seed or Approximately 160 seeds.

Our heirloom Ace 55 tomatoes are cherished for their sweet, low-acid flavor, making them a favorite for those who prefer mild tomatoes. The non-GMO, open-pollinated nature of these seeds means you can save seeds from year to year, ensuring a sustainable and reliable tomato crop. The plants are also known for their resistance to common diseases, like fusarium and verticillium wilts, which help reduce crop losses. Expect fruits in the 7-12 oz range—perfect for slicing, canning, and cooking.

Growing Tips for Ace 55 Tomatoes:

Soil Requirements: Ace 55 tomatoes do best in rich, well-drained soil with a pH of 6.2-6.8. Adding compost or other organic matter will improve the soil structure and nutrient availability.

Watering: Water consistently to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Water deeply once or twice a week to encourage strong root development. Avoid overhead watering to reduce the risk of fungal diseases—water at the base of the plant instead.

Fertilizing: Use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer when transplanting, and switch to a high-potassium fertilizer during flowering and fruiting for optimal tomato production.

Support: Ace 55 tomatoes are a determinate variety, which means they grow in a more compact form. While they generally need less staking than indeterminate varieties, using a cage or stake for support will help keep the plants upright and improve airflow.

Succession Planting for Continuous Harvests

Want to enjoy a steady supply of fresh tomatoes all season long? Practice succession planting by starting new batches of Ace 55 seeds every few weeks during the growing season. This way, you’ll have a continuous harvest of delicious tomatoes throughout the summer and into early fall.

Ideal Growing Zones

Ace 55 tomatoes grow best in USDA hardiness zones 3-11, making them a versatile option for a wide range of climates. In cooler zones, start your seeds indoors early to extend the growing season and ensure a bountiful harvest.

With our heirloom, non-GMO, open-pollinated Ace 55 tomato seeds, you’ll grow a garden full of delicious, disease-resistant tomatoes that are perfect for any use. Order your seed packet today and receive at least 300mg of seeds (approximately 160 seeds), giving you plenty of plants for a full, productive garden! Enjoy the taste of homegrown tomatoes with Ace 55 this season!

Another one bites the dust!
Color: Octopus Purple & Blue
Good toy, but nothing spectacular. Took my 10 month old girl less than a day to kill the squeaker lol. Item is still intact meaning its not shredded but once squeaker dies she's pretty much done with it.

My dog's obsession
Color: Octopus Yellow & Green
My dog has been obsessed with these since he was a puppy. I started buying them in 6 packs. He chews is after each meal like dental floss and it's always soggy and gross. I keep an eye on the legs and throw it away when he begins to chew through them. One lasts him a couple months (80 pound Lab).

Great for treats
Color: Octopus Purple & Blue
We purchased this to keep our dog busy and engaged. He seems to enjoy it. We placed 1 or 2 treats in the tentacles and then loosely tie them. He can not untie them but can still manage to get the treats out. It amuses him for 10-12 minutes which is great. Only downside I can see is that the octopus is going to get grungy soon because of the treats and the treats and the constant licking to remove them. Not sure how it will washup but we will try. Very soft and decent squeaky sound.

Durable
My dog loves it. She takes it to  bed every night. It is sturdy, doesn’t seem like it will rip easily.  Why did you pick this product vs others?: Trying to replace a raccoon she got 4 year’s ago.  Squeak: Only squeaks when I squeeze it.

As with all stuffed toys, supervision is needed.
I have a 6 month old standard size Golden Doodle who has gone through several raccoon toys. He loves their tails and to make them squeak. He knows the word raccoon, so when the last one “died”, I had to get another. This one is well made and has a magnificent tail. It did not take long, however, for Marvin to amputate two of the raccoon’s feet and pull the stuffing out. Luckily, I was able to get it from him before he swallowed any, and was able to sew up the injuries and return it to him for another round of play. I do not expect more from a stuffed toy, but I do not leave my dog alone with one and accept that supervision is always necessary. This raccoon is charming and when it “dies” I will probably buy it again. Five stars!
