The degree of pink varies depending on conditions or time of year from a pale pink to a vibrant powder pink that doesn't seem real! But don't worry if sometimes it is more green with light pink, it might just need more light.  To get the degree of pink seen in the first image you probably need to keep it on the dry side as a bit of drought stress brings out the most stunning color.
