Echeveria ‘Brown Rose’ is a striking rosette with thick, wide, upright leaves that give it a strong, sculptural shape. The base color is green, but in bright sunlight the rosette can show beautiful pink to orange tones swirled through the leaves.
This plant grows steadily and keeps a compact form as it matures. It can produce small offsets, or “chicks,” around the base over time. Mature plants may also send up a flower stalk with bell-shaped blooms. It is easy to propagate from leaves or stem cuttings once established.

Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
