Condition Detail
Satin looks and feels sturdy, though a 1920s era silk is generally only considered wearable with caution; the lace panniers have several breaks that indicates fragility, most have been neatly repaired with black illusion with a few small holes remaining, not noticeable when worn; the buckle has five rhinestones missing, some are darkened, with minor bending to the metal frame, looks "antiqued" at first glance and we consider these flaws good patina, not necessarily a detraction

Washing Instructions
If necessary, dry clean by hand, by a professional experienced with antique clothing

Please note: All measurements (bust - waist - hip) are the maximum body measurements that will fit the item. These measurements already have ease subtracted and they are not actual fabric widths. To get actual fabric widths add two inches at the bust - one inch at the waist and two inches at the hip.

Size listed is a modern size. Any available vintage size is noted in the Label description. Please remember vintage sizes and modern sizes can vary a great deal.

Bit Longer than Genuine Quicksilver Starter Not same fit
It’s close to the Quicksilver Mercruiser starter but it’s not the same length and size. Also the internal gear sits differently. My 2012 Tahoe Mercruiser Alpha 3.0 has a back bracket that would not fit on because this starter is longer. I didn’t take the risk of testing it out by starting it as I noticed the gear inside sits a bit different and there is a knob on the front of the housing as the original does not. I’m not taking any chances. I just returned it and ordered the actual Quicksilver Starter that’s a little more $$ but totally worth it to have a proper fit.

failed after 2 months of use
This starter has failed after less than one year in use. Used for 1 month last summer then, over the winter I had my boat winterized and upon summerizing it, the starter displayed a "flat" spot where it would not crank unless turned and tried again. It now doesn't turn over my engine. I'd like a refund or replacement. Do not recommend cheap knock offs for boat parts...

Good starters for the price
So I freaked out a bit when I pulled my old starter and it was a 9 tooth. But after alot of research I found out that this 11 tooth is a direct replacement. I use 2 of these on my boat. They have no problem starting a 7.4l big block. Great value for budget builds.
