Precious time to enjoy the amazing sensations of riding, precious time to experience the outdoors in one of the best possible ways, precious time -for however briefly- to get away from the artificial light and noise in our lives, clear our heads, and be free again.  We designed the Getaway with these thoughts in mind. It's a bike that anyone can get on and ride (and ride, and ride) just about anywhere short of mountain bike trails. The Getaway's aluminum frame is light and responsive to your pedaling input. It's ride quality is so smooth and comfortable and positive, you'll be encouraged to keep adding more miles to your routes. The handling is a well tuned balance between playful and responsive, sharp enough to be fun but also never twitchy. The 1 x 10 Shimano Cues drivetrain is simple to operate, reliably unfussy, and provides a wide enough range for steep climbs and fast descents. Speaking of fast descents, the Tektro hydraulic disc brakes are the real deal, helping you stay in control with excellent modulation and powerful slowing/stopping power. Meanwhilst, the WTB Resolute  700 x 42 tires are optimized to roll efficiently on pavement and provide loads of confident grip on the unpavement, allowing riders to comfortably adventure (almost) wherever they like.
