The Journey dress in Red Plaid is a classic red plaid pattern with touches of green, yellow, and blue. This charming plaid is perfect for strolling through the university corridors, twirling through the Scottish highlands, or channeling the coziest vibes year-round. 

The Journey dress features a corset back along with a side zipper. The side zipper helps the dress maintain its shape, while the corset back can be adjusted to best fit your silhouette. The Journey dress contains synthetic horsehair netting (not from real horses) under the skirt to maintain its shape and allow for maximum twirl-ability. This change makes the dress not only more affordable, but also more practical for daily wear. Journey has built-in bra cups, our classic four way stretch underskirt, and, of course, pockets. 

Our mission of making elegance and empowerment an essential through fashion will always be at the core of what we do. We are thrilled to be bringing this new, more accessible option to the Chelsea lineup that will hopefully allow even more people to twirl. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was packaged. The box was securely sealed, and everything inside was perfectly intact—minor spills, no mess. A heads up on opening the entire thing: the round container’s Lid is screwed on VERY LOOSELY. Be mindful when you’re unboxing. Screw it back on very tightly. The spray nozzle on this bottle gives such a beautiful, antique perfume vibe—it really elevates the whole experience. It sprays the glitter perfectly, so it’s easy to get a flawless application every time. (Don’t forget to keep the little nozzle cover to protect it!) Honestly, I wouldn’t apply it any other way than with the bottle—it just makes everything so much smoother. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you happen to go overboard, just grab the closest shirt and wipe off any excess. No point in wasting any of this stuff! :) Oh, & those two little gloss bottles are actually glue, which is perfect for keeping everything right where you need it to be. Here’s a little pro tip: I used the same tape that kept the box sealed to reseal the lid of the round glitter container until I’m ready to use it. Worked like a charm! 😎 It’s a small detail, but it will keep everything neat, and prevent unwanted glitter explosions in the future. If you’re a sparkle lover, you’ll adore this glitter—it’s as pretty in person as it looks online!
